Powers and Sons has over 70 years experience in machining and assembly of steering and suspension related products. Our capabilities include tapping, drilling, reaming, broaching, swaging, milling, thread rolling, welding and assembly. These operations are carried out on equipment such as CNC Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, Rotary Index Machines, custom built equipment and Robotic Assembly Lines. The combination of years of experience, diverse equipment, lean manufacturing techniques and total predictive maintenance allows Powers and Sons to meet the most demanding neess of our customers.
Products produced by Powers and Sons include those for rack and pinion steering as well as conventional steering systems and different suspension types.
Pitman arms range from passenger cars to light, medium and heavy truck applications. Idler arms for light trucks and passenger cars. Suspension products include front and rear track bars, rear toe links for independent suspensions and strut steering arms. Tie rod ends for rack and pinion applications as well as sleeve assemblies. Complete wheel to wheel linkage systems for light and medium trucks.
